MaxYield Cooperative’s board of directors recently announced that the merger proposal between MaxYield and NEW Cooperative, Inc., headquartered in Fort Dodge, IA, will proceed to a member vote in June.
Letter to MaxYield Membership - April 8
On April 8th, all Class A (voting) members of MaxYield Cooperative were mailed an update letter regarding merger discussions with NEW Cooperative, Inc. The boards of both cooperatives have approved moving the merger proposal forward.
The merger proposal will be voted upon by MaxYield's membership in June 2021. At the link below, view the latest update regarding the merger proposal.
Letter to MaxYield Membership - March 15
On March 15th, all Class A (voting) members of MaxYield Cooperative were mailed a letter containing updates on the merger study and answers to commonly asked questions about the study.
Merger Study News Release - March 5
The boards of directors of MaxYield Cooperative, based in West Bend, IA and NEW Cooperative, headquartered in Fort Dodge, IA, recently announced that they have entered into a merger study between the two cooperatives.
The MaxYield board unanimously agreed that the two cooperative boards should meet. A joint board meeting between MaxYield and NEW Co-op took place in late January and on January 29th, the MaxYield board unanimously approved entering into a merger study.

On February 16th, all Class A (voting) members of MaxYield Cooperative received a letter announcing that MaxYield and NEW Cooperative, based in Fort Dodge, IA, have entered into a merger study.
