WEST BEND, IA – Bill Bleuer, grain operations team member at MaxYield’s West Bend location, was recognized with a retirement lunch honoring his 46 1/2 years of service to the local cooperative recently. His last day with MaxYield will be July 23, 2021.
Starting his career at what was then known as West Bend Elevator Company in 1975, Bleuer recalls that his first day on the job involved bagging fish cake at cooperative’s soybean plant. He served his entire career at MaxYield primarily in the grain operations department, working many long hours during fall harvest and train loading.
Bleuer is looking forward to spending more time with his grandchildren during his retirement.
We wish Bill and his wife Pat all the best in retirement!
